PRINCESS SHALALA Illustrated last October 10, 2009 as a birthday art gift for ~Six-One. She also has the original copy of the illustration. Sorry for the low quality of the image, I only took a photo using my cellphone.
Shilaaaa (my nick for ~Six-One) and my mom shares the same birthday. Few of her quirks reminds me of my mom. Like, she always nagged at me when I'm late with tasks. LOL! As a workmate, she's a very honest senior and I did learned A LOT from her. She can say strong words (which I like) but can still be "malambing" in denial sometimes.I can sense it! LOL!
This is Princess Shalala of Time Travel Tondekeman. If you can still remember the anime, this was aired in Philippine local channel way back. I remember this one was aired in a home cable channel too. I illustrated Princess Shalala for Shilaaa because the Filipino dubbed version of Time Travel Tondekeman changed Princess Shalala's name to "Prinsesa Shilaaaaa" LOL!
If you still can't recall, let me try this line for you: "Lilipad Lilipad! Takoreeee!"
Used watercolors on the background and the rest are Copic Markers and Copic White Opaque. I was proud of this illustration back then but looking at it now, I feel ashamed that it looks weird now.
